History and Overview

PV-1000 device was far much an improvement by the Lawmate Company of their earlier products. Equipped with 5" display LCD screen, this was a device wide far past its age. Now Lawmate Company yet brings out a new super-hot DVR inheriting all the superb features of its predecessors and acquiring new much better features of the generation. Some unique capabilities PV-1000Touch5 has inherited from its predecessors include the integrated processor chip offering HD quality; manage large disk data and adjustability of Frames Captured per Second (FPS).

 PV-1000Touch5 is an improved version with an external 500GB HDD giving you enough storage space for an uninterrupted 10 day video recording without need of deleting to free space. Its display too is a capacitive 5" 720 x 480 LCD Full Touch Screen.

Features and Specifications:

 PV-1000Touch5 main features which distinguish it from its predecessors are; 500GB HDD and the 5" Touch screen. But, the other distinct features of its series still hold.

a.       500GB HDD: The presences if this large capacity storage media in this small device allows it to achieve milestones which even larger DVRs do not achieve. This external HDD provides the DVR with enough capacity to record a full HD clip for up to 300 hours. This device is therefore the most suitable for home and office security.

b.      Security:  PV-1000Touch5 software is created in such a way that for a user to view some sensitive data; one needs a password to unlock; this ensures that some levels of security are achieved at all cost. The owner or administrator can set a power on password, file access password, reset password etc. to ensure that even at the point of dismantle or vandalism, the recorded information is not easily tampered with or viewed by unauthorized people. This action maintained file integrity and makes your recorded data almost impossible to tamper with.

c.       Large 5" Touch Screen Display: This large display does not only allow you to view the recorded video easily and clearly even without the help of a PC or laptop; but also enables you to adjust video settings during recording, zoom snapshots and manage other device configurations such as setting passwords etc.

The display offers a Crystal clear 1080 pixels 480 x 800 resolutions.

d.      Multiple recording Modes: PV-1000Touch5 offers many video recording modes such as the Normal Recording Mode – Where by the recording continues uninterrupted until memory fills up or power source is disconnected; On-click Recording – Where by recording is triggered by a click of a button and may be paused later on in case you do not want to record some content; Motion Detect Recording – This is where by recording is triggered by motion close to the DVR.

e.      Ease of Use: The presence of the 5” Touch Screen display offers an easier use of this device enabling you to navigate easily through menus and zoom videos and snapshots around. Also, on top of this display, the DVR has physical buttons i.e. Power Button, start/pause/stop recording button. IR Remote Controller and a Wired Remote Controller are also supported.

f.        Wide Variety of Cameras Support: PV-1000Touch5 supports and also powers both 5V 2.5” analogue/HDMI camera and a 12V 3.5” camera remotely. Both cameras can work simultaneously.

g.       Battery Life: PV-1000Touch5 has a 3.7V 4400mA Lithium Battery which can last up to 180 minutes when using 2.5mm Analogue – DC 5V Sensor Camera and 120 minutes when using the Mini HDMI Analogue – DC 12V Sensor camera.
